The experiments continue

Thank you everyone who commented and sent me notes about my previous post. I am enjoying the spontaneity of these experiments and your kind remarks mean a lot. Here is another, Neocolor II crayons, a little watercolor pencil, washed and sprayed with water, then dry colored pencil on top, on a 7 x 10 inch Arches hot press block.

  1. Ooooohhh...I LOVE this one, Ann - those purple shadows, the runs on the edges...spontaneous and sun-filled and lovely!

  2. I really like the glowing colors in this one, as well as the softness. Spraying the water on it gave it a nice, painterly effect. nancy

  3. I like the misty, mystery of the finished product. I'm sure I'd overwork it and destroy that when it was dry and these are just marvelous.
