Pearwatercolor in Watercolor Moleskine journal
©Ann Thompson Nemcosky How often have I said I would like to be in the practice of keeping an illustrated journal? I start and stop, never really making any progress. So when the
Every Day in May challenge was announced on the Everyday Matters group, I thought I should go for it. What better way to develop a habit than to practice daily? I may not be able to post everyday, but I will do something everyday and share the results, good and not so good. Want to join me? Just follow the links for more information. May is going to be lots of fun!
Oh, I just want to eat that pear so badly! It's like the watercolor version of great food photography, to make it so tempting, people will want to eat it! You should illustrate a cookbook! Love this!

ReplyDeleteI thought about doing the everyday in May challenge, its a good way to get a lot done and learn
A beautiful watercolour Ann! What a wonderful plan for May...I look forward to seeing what you put in your illustrated journal.
ReplyDeleteJuicy, rich coloured pear. Every day in May...yeah I should get on that bandwagon with you this year. I managed it last May. Wishing us all luck.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful pear! You won't regret the every day in May thing. The hardest part is when it ends. It was a month after thing-a-day.com was over before I quit having withdrawals.
ReplyDeleteThis is beautiful - those highlights!!!
ReplyDeleteIf you did this pear with your watercolor pencils on the watercolor paper you didn't like, keep on trying. This looks luscious. Can I have a bite?
