Painting #17 - Morning Song

Morning Song

I am enjoying painting these seascapes. This is inspired by one of those early mornings at the beach when the horizon dissolves into the mist, and is painting #17 in my 100 painting project.

  1. Nicely done. You have the morning light down, right down to to the pink sand. :) I'm leaving for the beach next Saturday. I hope I can do the sea the same justice as you and the rest of my artist friends have done.

  9. As much as I love the water and watching the waves crash on the beach, I have to say that your treatment of the sand is stunning. Much as I can do when looking closely at sand, I am mesmerized by the play of colors. Beautiful painting, Ann! Hoping that winter has finally bid your area adieu! Please let Gary know that I am missing his paintings! (I should make a point of going backwards through his blog from when I first stumbled upon it!)
