Here is #52 of my 100 painting project. This is a scene taken from a sketch outing last August. Yep, I am missing those summer days. At the same time, I want to savor every moment of the right here that is right now. Just every now and then during these cold and gray winter days, a walk in warm sunshine would be so nice.
Beautiful Ann! It really brings fond memories of warm weather and sunshine. I love the way the path leans with the trees as if walking toward a lake.
ReplyDeleteThanks for the reminder about enjoying today too. I forget that sometimes when I'm craving warmer days.
Makes you feel that you are there with the dappled walkway and the sun shining through the trees.
ReplyDeleteGorgeous as always Ann =) Looking back at all your paintings... I am making them my dream place, simply love where you are
ReplyDeleteThis should be called "Dappled!" It is just so beautiful, Ann. I have to say that I have always had a feeling that you do always appreciate the here and now, that life is good for you and your family, and that there is a wonderful peace within the three of you...Something that just comes through both you and Gary. I love that!
ReplyDeleteI want to follow the path and see where it goes! Lovely painting.
ReplyDeleteLike a visual diary of that place and time, you have captured the colours beautifully.
ReplyDeleteLovely to find your comments, thank you.
You know, when I see your drawings, I always want to put on my hiking shoes and go out... wonder why ; ) ! This drawing is wonderful, I just want to get into the picture and walk in this beautiful place!
ReplyDeleteIt looks like such a warm, wonderful day; the kind when you never want to come back inside! Beautifully done!
ReplyDeleteThis is so lovely! I wish I could just step into your paintings!!
ReplyDeleteMakes you just want to wander down the path and smell the fresh air, woods, and flowers.
