I spotted this lively display of pumpkins outside our local grocery and was inspired to capture them in paint. Yes, I am that woman photographing produce at the supermarket. We did purchase one pumpkin, I think it was the little white one in the bottom right corner of my painting. It now lives on our porch along side a purple mum. It's such a colorful time of the year.
Wow, what lovely autumnal colours. Great pumpkin painting
ReplyDeleteThis really glows, perfectly autumn!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful piece! Love the blue and oranges you've chosen. Outstanding. I wish I had some wall space for a few of your paintings. I keep looking around and trying to see if I could fit something in. Even though most of yours aren't big, my walls are pretty full!
ReplyDeletevery real looking pumpkin :)
ReplyDeletenice simple blue background really sets off the orange of the pumpkins :)
It is indeed a colorful time of year and maybe why it has been my favorite season since I was old enough to have a favorite season. Love this big gorgeous pumpkin display and I was especially studying the reds in the orange...
ReplyDeleteGorgeous, you captured autumn!! love,Diana
ReplyDeleteJust stunning. Inspiring me to bogey some!
ReplyDeleteDear Ann - absolutely beautiful...so right that it is the most colorful time of the year. Sounds like your white pumpkin and purple mum would be lovely together. Hope you have a wonderful fall day.
ReplyDeleteHi Ann, very nice things! I was once asked not to take photos at Central Market.
ReplyDeleteThank you everyone for your kind comments! Timaree, you are very sweet! And Hugh, really? But you took photos anyway, right? LOL!
