If we had these summery blue skies every day would we appreciate them as much? I know I am so looking forward to their return this year. We are predicted to get another foot of snow this weekend. yay. Better get to the grocery and stock up again. And I'll keep humming summertime tunes. Gotta love Willie.

  1. Very pretty. It's funny since I'm waiting for the car to warm up to go to Texas Roadhouse which is at least partially owned by Willy Nelson

  5. If it hasn't sold already, you will have to prop this up on the mantel to remind you that the sky really does look like this some of the time. I know you are braced for a huge storm...hope you have all your painting supplies, along with milk and bread:)

  6. I've been studying clouds over the past couple of years, trying to see them with artist eye, but boyohboy everytime I try to capture them, I get disappointed and frustrated. These are terrific. Complimenti!

  7. Gorgeousness...I find myself wanting to picnic up on these pretties, than drift off to slumberland, enveloped by that cottony candy goodness!

  11. I enjoyed viewing your paintings together at the flickr Viewer.
It always feels refreshing to swop and change and use different tools. The choice of material brings its own qualities, yet still the outcome is personal.
Glad you are enjoying your painting.

  13. Beautiful sky! It's greatly done, it gives a real feeling of movement, air, sun and a nice wind (just great to dream about during winter when a nasty, violent wind is blowing today : )!)Love your painting "Elk knob", too, beautiful work!
