A sketch outing

We have had sweetly beautiful days here lately and wonderfully cool nights. It makes it difficult for me to settle into doing anything. I guess it's the knowing that all of this nice weather is fading fast. We had a pleasant outing yesterday with a visit to Daniel Boone Botanical Gardens right here in town. Kiddo got to practice with her new camera while the Professor and I did a little sketching.

I love the looseness and softness of this one, Ann! Very nice colors, too. nancy

Ann, I love looking at your work, but don't comment very often.

I must say, though, I love the colors in this one.

Thanks for sharing,

xoxo

It's always so relaxing when looking at your work, may it be the colors you use or just simply the subject you choose, they are both great! =)

We're still getting ridiculously hot days, though the nights are cooling here too. I always long for the autumn for some reason. Always have. Love this delightful landscape Ann. As always, your palette is magical!

Lovely sketch! I know that feeling of how fleeting the beautiful fall weather is...but I'm sure it's even more fleeting where you are. Enjoy!

What a serene sketch, Ann! By the way, wow, great colors you have on the blog now. Enjoy those last few days of summer, we know how soon the cold weather approaches...

Sounds and looks like it was a wonderful day! I'm a little green with envy here; we only had a high of 90 yesterday, but the dreaded 'feels-like' temp was 108. I'll try to stop complaining about that...it will be changing soon. My fingers are crossed that it is very soon!
