Sketchbook Tuesday - here again

How can it be so long since my last post? Well, I was kind of busy doing other things and before I knew it an entire week had flown by. Even though I had done a few sketches and worked a little more on my current colored pencil drawing, I just didn't feel that I had anything significant to share. But I do plan to be back on track now. Anyway, here are a couple of things found in my yard on a November day, watercolor in my handmade sketchbook.

Have to say that bark is spot on perfection, Ann! When you still have kids at home, time does indeed fly by. Always so busy! I too lose the time but because of work and fatigue when I get home. Darn it.

You find beauty in the simplest things and transform its loveliness in such a delicate and special way. It's always a treat to see your work! nancy

Beautiful colors...especially in the shadows. I tend to just make mine all purple, but I like yours so much better!

This is lovely. Sketchbooks have such charm and appeal... all those little bits of nature just waiting to be discovered and painted and bring those pages alive.
