Storm Passing

This one sat a little too long in progress, and I probably messed with it a little too much, but here it is anyway. I liked the dramatic light in this scene, captured when a tropical storm was passing just off the coast while we were at the beach last year. And yeah, I am still having fun painting the surf.

The colors are exquisite! I love that you used so much green and gold and peach tones in the water. It's so effective!

Oh wow, Ann!! I have to say this is my new favorite. I love the sea and I adore storms and you've given the best of both in this piece.

Ann - this is so beautiful...I love the fact that you were able to capture the storm that passed. There is just something wild and wonderful about this. Thanks for sharing.
