I have been away from the ocean long enough that it was time to begin painting it again.

Absolutely exquisite capture of that gorgeous sea color! I could just sit for hours and watch and listen to the sounds of the ocean.

This is awesome. There is so much texture and movement to that water... I'm so impressed with how you did this one Ann! What color was done with the goauche?

Thanks everyone for your comments!

It was just a little white gouache, Katherine, to recapture some of the whites of the foamy bits of the surf :-)

Ann I think I love your ocean scenes the best. They have so much movement and reality in them that you make it easy for the viewer to empathise with the scene.
