Have I mentioned just how stunning the color has been here this fall? I just had to paint a few more colorful leaves from our yard and finished the page with a scene of fall color that I captured with my camera on a recent drive on the Blue Ridge Parkway. But you don't have to get out with all the "leaf-lookers" on the Parkway to find Autumn beauty, it's everywhere this year. Cheap Joe's blog,
The Sketchbook, has a nice post with wonderful photos of local scenes celebrating this year's fall color.

The leaves look like you picked them up and dropped them on your paper. The painting is just exquisite!
Such beautiful work you are doing lately! It's fall, fall, fall. Vivid colors, beautifully done. These are wonderful leaves, and love the scene you painted. Your postcards are wonderful, and I love Come Away and your other fall scenes, and your studies of the ocean are, as usual, unbelievable!
The shades of color are amazing, I love your leaf sketch and the landscape sketch are both exquisite! Gorgeous work on your postcards below. Beautiful reflections in the water.
What a lovely page layout Ann...the leaves and landscape are gorgeous. Thanks for sharing. Have a wonderful day.
