Ocean Tide Study VI

Here is another small tide study. I do enjoy painting the water and waves. I like the nearly abstract quality of working with a close-cropped view. And I am learning to trust the paint more, allowing it to move and settle to create the motion and depth required for these simple scenes.

I love how you always capture the movement and the light coming through the water, Ann. Another stunning painting!

Beautiful details, I love how the colors shifts and creates the feeling of distance.

Beautiful brush marks and colours build a wonderful portrayal of the sea full of energy and movement. Just lovely.
