(this moment)

{this moment} - A Friday ritual. A single photo - no words - capturing a moment from the week. A simple, special, extraordinary moment. A moment I want to pause, savor and remember.

The wrapping paper is fabulous!! Someone is having a big moment...I love those days. :)

My Moment ~ a sweet note I found from my oldest daughter after she had left for a few days away from home.

Thanks! Actually Kiddo is learning to sew - making her first skirt! She picked out the peace symbol fabric. Should turn out to be a real groovy skirt :-)

Cool says a teen of the 60s. Reminds me of the Cat Steven's song "Peace Train". Be sure to let us see the skirt.

Hah! My first impression was that she was cutting fabric. Then I thought, well...maybe it is wrapping paper! LOL I was right the first time! She will so enjoy this project, I think! Now that all said, Ann...do you know how to make boobs not so pointy when you have to sew in darts? This is a special problem I am having right now and I won't end up wearing the dress if I can't soften that bust line up a bit...

Thanks Jeannne, I will!
AL -Thanks too for your comment. But I can't help you with darts. I have never sewn anything that complex LOL! Curtains, pillow covers, skirts with elastic waists, that's all. No zippers or darts or sleeves! Maybe if you have a sewing store nearby someone there would know?
