Checking in

A short post today just to check in and let you all know that I haven't forgotten my blog here. We were away last week and then Kiddo and I came down with a flu bug. We are home now and recovering. I did manage one quick sketch while away but you know, there's no place like home really.

I also want to thank everyone for your so very kind and encouraging comments left on my last post. Your generous words mean a lot to me. I'll be back at the drawing board with something new soon.

How talented you are - equally adept whether it be the huge ocean or a little plant!

I think there's flu bug everywhere! :(
Anyway, I hope you and everyone at home are getting better.
I love the sketch, and yeah... I've been abandoning my blog lately... I haven't any drive to draw, but I just found one for a great cause. We're gonna find a way to make that work

Sorry to hear you've been ill! Hope you're feeling better and are able to get back to your art soon!

These little gumballs are the bain of my existence! We have eight of these trees in our backyard and I am constantly picking them up. (I hate walking on them!) Wonderful sketch though!

Lovely little sketch here, Ann. Is this a thistle?

Hoping you and your daughter are feeling ever so much better too. Hoping all is well and today brings you much joy.

wow, so many different sensations look at this drawing - soft, spiky, delicate, sharp. not bad for someone who isn't feeling well! :D

Hope you feel better soon. I love this sketch of the seed with all its little crevices and the shadow is excellent.

Lovely aerial drawing! I've not been around much these days, but it's always a joy to take a moment to visit your blog. You did an incredible work on the waves, and as usual it was great to see the work in progress. Hope you and your daughter feel better.

I love your renderings of water below! Water is such an important life force to me; it never ceases to fascinate and rejuvenate me! Sadly, I don't live by the ocean any longer...
