Remote
I'm a little more out of it than usual this week. Fighting a cold/flu bug and generally just feeling like ick. Now as I was getting ready to do this week's Everyday Matters drawing challenge I realized I hadn't yet posted last week's, #197, draw a remote. So here it is, graphite in my hand.book journal. This remote is one that we have that no longer works. I don't know why we are keeping a remote that doesn't function. But it came in handy when I wanted to do the drawing challenge. You see, between hubby and kiddo I never get to use a TV remote. I have no favorite shows because I never know what is on. Our TV is usually on the golf channel. Or Hannah Montana. This is why I really don't spend much time watching television.

You've inspired me to try this challenge. Great job!
Well done, great shading. Love how you cropped it.
The shading on this is great - I especially like the way you have drawn the shadow at the bottom. I struggle with shadows!
You did a good job on the remote you never use! My husband wanted to show me how all three of ours work and which one to use for what. He got a bit annoyed because I didn't want to learn it but when you only touch a remote once a year or less, there is no way I'll remember his convoluted system of TV, VCR, DVD player and stereo!
A great job on this. I really like your smooth style of drawing.
Hope you are soon feeling better. My hubby has been sick this week and so far I've avoided it... keeping fingers crossed!
BUT - you have time to do the challenges, and a Great sketch it is!!
I just found you through Kate Johnson's blog. When I saw the picture she bought, I initially thought it was a photo! Your work is amazing, and very inspiring!
Wow, so detailed and true to life. You have done a great job of this challenge.
That is your drawing when you're feeling ick?!!! I'm impressed.
