Sky - painting #7
If we had these summery blue skies every day would we appreciate them as much? I know I am so looking forward to their return this year. We are predicted to get another foot of snow this weekend. yay. Better get to the grocery and stock up again. And I'll keep humming summertime tunes. Gotta love Willie.

Very pretty. It's funny since I'm waiting for the car to warm up to go to Texas Roadhouse which is at least partially owned by Willy Nelson

If it hasn't sold already, you will have to prop this up on the mantel to remind you that the sky really does look like this some of the time. I know you are braced for a huge storm...hope you have all your painting supplies, along with milk and bread:)
I've been studying clouds over the past couple of years, trying to see them with artist eye, but boyohboy everytime I try to capture them, I get disappointed and frustrated. These are terrific. Complimenti!
Gorgeousness...I find myself wanting to picnic up on these pretties, than drift off to slumberland, enveloped by that cottony candy goodness!
Ahhh...makes me want to put face towards the sun, close my eyes, and soak up some vitamin D! It's beautiful!

Beautiful sky! It's greatly done, it gives a real feeling of movement, air, sun and a nice wind (just great to dream about during winter when a nasty, violent wind is blowing today : )!)Love your painting "Elk knob", too, beautiful work!

I am a sky lover... I must admit, I stare into the sky wayyy more often, and I love doing it. :) I could say the same about your drawing, I love it!
