Across the way

Across the Way

The marsh grasses, the water reflecting sky, and bright sunshine illuminating the other shore. I wonder what is over there, who lives there, on that side across the way?

Oh wow! This is enchanting! I love it! Such a tranquil, peaceful feeling... I also love the strawberries photo! It's amazing! That would be fun to paint.
Have you read "You Are Here" by Thich Nhat Hahn (yes, spelled correctly). It's all about what you're describing... being in the moment fully.

Anne - love your colors - your painting really makes me wonder who does live across the Marsh. Thanks for sharing. God Bless

Me! that's where I would like to live - in a treehouse surrounded by water - its' a lovely picture and had me off day dreaming of a secret hideway, I had planned my little home right down to the naturally carved furniture and bark wallpaper! Pictures that lead the imagination have to be the best - thanks.

I totally agree with every word Betty said. And this is so pretty, Ann! I can hear the breeze, the frogs, even a fish jumping.

Thank you all for your wonderful comments! I can tell from your responses that I achieved just what I hoped with this painting. Katherine, I have heard of his writing but not that title. It's on my reading list now :-)
