I did buy three tomato plants this year. Even after last year's pitiful results. Inspired by a friend, I put them into large planters on our deck, the sunniest and warmest spot in our woodland yard. So far, so good. I have lots of green tomatoes now, only a couple have ripened. But I am hopeful.

when you pick them, place them stem down, can't remember why tho lol
My once green thumb has blackened. Nothing I plant survives, no matter the care given it. Lovely sketchbook pages; I thought it was seed packet image in my thumbnail!
Jennifer, that's interesting and now I wonder why stem down is a better way too. Hmmm.
Sherry, I know what you mean. Sometimes I think I'd have better success just planting money LOL!
