I spotted this lively display of pumpkins outside our local grocery and was inspired to capture them in paint. Yes, I am that woman photographing produce at the supermarket. We did purchase one pumpkin, I think it was the little white one in the bottom right corner of my painting. It now lives on our porch along side a purple mum. It's such a colorful time of the year.

Beautiful piece! Love the blue and oranges you've chosen. Outstanding. I wish I had some wall space for a few of your paintings. I keep looking around and trying to see if I could fit something in. Even though most of yours aren't big, my walls are pretty full!

It is indeed a colorful time of year and maybe why it has been my favorite season since I was old enough to have a favorite season. Love this big gorgeous pumpkin display and I was especially studying the reds in the orange...

Dear Ann - absolutely beautiful...so right that it is the most colorful time of the year. Sounds like your white pumpkin and purple mum would be lovely together. Hope you have a wonderful fall day.

Hi Ann, very nice things! I was once asked not to take photos at Central Market.
