When I start thinking seriously about holiday gift giving. Oh, I know it's only October, but I do like to plan ahead. Mostly because I don't enjoy becoming overwhelmed at the last minute with too many gifts to buy and things to do. I have always been one to make many of the gifts I give, not only for the holidays but also throughout the year for birthdays and other occasions.So I spent a good deal of time yesterday putting together some new items for my CafePress store. Here is a sampling of my two favorites. My colored pencil piece, "On The Forest Floor" as a framed tile and a twelve month wall calendar. You will have to visit my CafePress store to see all of the items I have available.
Each month in the calendar features a different colored pencil painting that I created during the last year or so. When I thought of making a calendar I wasn't sure whether I would have enough pieces for 12 months. Then I started looking through my images and realized that I had more than enough. Enough works to edit down (not so easy) to my favorites, one for each month.
I also opened a gallery at ImageKind. You can find the link on my side bar. This is something I had wanted to do for some time, having seen this service on other artists' blogs. So here are two of the four images I have available for prints and greeting cards at ImageKind. If there is a work of mine that you would be interested in purchasing as a print, please let me know by emailing me (contact info is at right in the sidebar) and I will be sure to add it to my gallery at ImageKind.

What a gorgeous collection of goodies....I absolutely love the Edisto Beach dunes piece...absolutely fabulous light and shadows...Your work has a delightful way of making me stop...and relax...and say "Ahhh! " :)
Ann, good on you for getting ready for the holidays already! Looks like you have some beautiful things, I'm sure you'll do well.

Awesome! I thought the leaf was a photo - beautiful photo, too! until I read it was in pencil and had to check if I had understood correctly! Beautiful calendar, too!
