A little quiet time

The little ghosts and goblins have all settled and we are now preparing for our winter with warming soups, fresh baked bread, pulling the sweaters out of their storage boxes and planning creative time spent indoors. I am looking at all the projects started on my drawing table and really hoping to be able to spend more time with them this month, as all the festivities and work of the last couple of months is now mostly behind me. November is a quiet month and I am ready for it now.

What a lovely thought, we are heading fast into summer, but when it is so hot that is when I have more time to work, with our mild winters I tend to do more outside, Look forward to more of your work,

I love how the seasonal change is affecting your drawings Ann, especially when it's Fall as it is my favorite season.
I really like how you highlighted the bushes right by the path, and all the leaves are illuminating in gold ^^ very very lovely indeed.
And thanks Ann for your kind comments always :) It's really an honor

Terrific color exploration, with your dappled autumn light, wooded path and contrasty colors.

What a lovely painting. Love the idea of quiet time... but that won't be until January for me. The hubby's band is booked nearly every weekend from now until New Year's Eve... yikes!

Wouldn't it be great to spend peaceful quiet time under these shady trees? Makes me long for summer again. Glad your November will be winding down.

This could definitely be ID! Every time I see what you can do with color pencil I am inspired, but I stop short of that because I know mine doesn't come close to looking like yours!
