You went on ahead

This is another one of my Neocolor II and colored pencil pieces on hot press paper, about 5 x 8 inches. A trail that we have hiked many times now since we moved to these mountains. Years ago, we would take our dog, Henry, hiking with us. He loved to run ahead but would always stop and wait for us to catch up. He was a dog that needed to go first. Always.

Lovely painting of good memories. Although our canine friends have to go on before us, they will be waiting! Always sad to say goodbye for awhile.

Henry sounds like a smart and fun dog ^^ I'd love to have a dog one day too but Tanna's more of a cat person so we'll see.
A very lovely drawing Ann, beautiful path that I would want to take, with a bottle of water, and a camera with me... just in case I find something interesting which I could take a picture with. =)

this is so soft looking :D i love all the blues and greens

most dogs I've had always had to be in the lead on a path, unless we had a treat in our pockets lol

Cool story as for me. It would be great to read something more concerning that theme.
