Painting #17 - Morning Song

Morning Song

I am enjoying painting these seascapes. This is inspired by one of those early mornings at the beach when the horizon dissolves into the mist, and is painting #17 in my 100 painting project.

Nicely done. You have the morning light down, right down to to the pink sand. :) I'm leaving for the beach next Saturday. I hope I can do the sea the same justice as you and the rest of my artist friends have done.

Oh my gosh, Ann, that's simply breathtaking. The colors just glow, and you can feel the sunshine.

As much as I love the water and watching the waves crash on the beach, I have to say that your treatment of the sand is stunning. Much as I can do when looking closely at sand, I am mesmerized by the play of colors. Beautiful painting, Ann! Hoping that winter has finally bid your area adieu! Please let Gary know that I am missing his paintings! (I should make a point of going backwards through his blog from when I first stumbled upon it!)

I am most definitely a beach person and this is, by far, my favorite! I wish I had the extra funds to purchase!
