From our upstairs bedroom window, looking west, this is the view. Except that there is the forest of trees on our property and those across the way below us, whose branches reach upward and are between my window view and the hills beyond. As I was taken with the glowing pastel spring colors of the evening sky, I left all of those tree branches out of my little sketch. Maybe I'll put them in later. Or not.

Your sketch is wonderful! I'd kill for a view like that.
Magnificent!
Leave it as it is it is stunning. I have a beautiful view from my garden that have a few trees could do with removing if you have time. Great sketch.
I thinks it lovely the way it is :) nice soft colours
Life is good and beautiful in Nemcovsky land! Another delightful watercolor, Ann. I really love these sketchbook pages you do!
Lovely! It's a great composition.
What a beautiful scene to wake up to. Your colors are lovely and the painting really captures the feeling of it! nancy
Love the vignetted look to this, Ann!
What a wonderful view and as wonderful page. The colours are beautiful.
Love your sketch/watercolor. I have a soft spot for pastels and soft colors. This is certainly eye catching. How nice to have this outside your window to see everyday.
PS- You said you wanted to see- and I have posted my pear sketch that I did from your oil painting of two pears. However, mine does not compare to your lovey painting. I think your pears are the nicest ones I have seen.
I like it the way it is too! It's unique, and leaves room for imagination. And I also like how it's elegant ^^
You are surrounded by beauty! Wonderful page!
What beautiful, beautiful colours!
Isn't spring glorious? It just lifts the heart, as seen in your journal entry,
You all are so kind! Thanks for your comments. And Ralph, I'd love to see that view and I'd be happy to remove a few trees for you :-)
