Sketchbook Tuesday - What's not there

From our upstairs bedroom window, looking west, this is the view. Except that there is the forest of trees on our property and those across the way below us, whose branches reach upward and are between my window view and the hills beyond. As I was taken with the glowing pastel spring colors of the evening sky, I left all of those tree branches out of my little sketch. Maybe I'll put them in later. Or not.

Love your sketch/watercolor. I have a soft spot for pastels and soft colors. This is certainly eye catching. How nice to have this outside your window to see everyday.

PS- You said you wanted to see- and I have posted my pear sketch that I did from your oil painting of two pears. However, mine does not compare to your lovey painting. I think your pears are the nicest ones I have seen.

I like it the way it is too! It's unique, and leaves room for imagination. And I also like how it's elegant ^^

You all are so kind! Thanks for your comments. And Ralph, I'd love to see that view and I'd be happy to remove a few trees for you :-)
