This is #35 of my 100 painting project. It is a view of marshes at Edisto Island, SC, that I photographed when we were there this past May. We had visited With These Hands Gallery, which is located right on the main road to Edisto Beach, Highway 174. A delightful gallery filled with many fun and beautiful crafts and art works from local artists. As we stepped back outside this was the view directly across the roadway. I am glad that I took the time to snap a few reference photos before heading back up the road.

That sky is simply stunning, Ann.
I can't stress how high the level of realism this one has got... it's so surreal, and I am pretty sure I am staring at a photograph!
Fantastic work Ann!
Very nice Ann. It looks like such a lovely day. Beautiful.
Wonderful! I love the sky too... so much life and energy in it.
This is a stunning painting, Ann. Love what that strip of purple does to the composition.
Love the cloud patterns you created to make a dramatic sky Ann, also the purple strip is doing wonders there!
The clouds, the beautiful green in the foreground, the depth -- very beautiful painting.
Ooh, c'est magnifique!
What a beautiful sky you have painted.
This is beautiful, Ann. I agree with the others, that sky is breathtakingly gorgeous.
Look at that stunning sky!!
I hate to repeat what others have said, but oh my that sky is out of this world.
Thanks all!
