She sells sea shells

I'm now back from a family visit at the coast this past week. We had hot, sunny days and a lot of activity catching up with everyone. It is very good to be finally home but oh I have so much to catch up on. Thanks to all who followed my Every Day in May to the very end! While away I was really missing doing the daily sketching as there just wasn't the opportunity to do as much drawing as I would have liked. These shells were drawn in my watercolor moleskine with watercolor pencils. We didn't find any shells like these on the beach. These shells were some of the decorations in the beach house where we stayed.

I really love your sea shells. These have the delicate colorations and you do them so well.

Welcome back! Your sea shell sketches are lovely. My eyes always go funny on me when I try to draw the intricate little ridges around the shells, so I look at your success with admiration.

Awesome! ^^ I know I've been missing out in giving comments, that's because I've been away, gone home for vacation for 2 weeks. I'll catch up, and start drawing again. I love these shells, they are really popping out of my screen ^^

Really beautiful work on those shells! I think they are much more difficult to draw than they appear at first, and you just nailed them.
Your sunrise drawings are also really lovely!
:-) Glad you had a nice vacation.

Well, found on the beach or in the house, your drawings of these shells are lovely. Hope you are well rested so you can get back to work on your watercolor pencil class.

Hi Ann!
Seashells are such a lovely -and difficult- subject (that I'll try some day :), and these are great (my favorite is the one on the right side).
Regards,
Carolina
