Sweet Stillness

Another scene inspired by the marshes of Edisto Island. I find the landscape there so calming. Maybe it's the wide, watery horizon at every turn.

Beautifully captured! The wonderful russet color of the spartina is gone now.... very dull, but the blue of the water so crisp and dark... making for a great contrast,

Dear Ann - what a peaceful scene. Makes me want to visit - especially in this cold weather we are having. Snow on the way.

So beautiful and just so calming. I imagine this is a great sanctuary for birds too, isn't it?

Thanks all! Yes, Pam, I do wish I could visit in winter just to see the variation of color. And Sherry, it is indeed!
