So I thought I'd try a simpler subject for my watercolor pencil class. This pepper was destined for spaghetti sauce, so I drew it first, playing with some new green watercolor pencils.
I really like your use of colors other than green in the pepper and colors other than grey/blue in the shadows. (There's a technical name for that but it escapes me at the moment.) Nicely done. Hope the spaghetti sauce was delicious too.
Good job on the green pepper...did it taste better when you ate it, after studying it so intensly? I am in the WC class too...so excited to learn this medium.

simple but you did a good job getting the shine to the pepper :)
I think watercolor pencils have a definite learning curve and you are getting there really fast. Good job!

One pretty pepper! And it just so happens that spaghetti is on the menu for dinner tonight! :-)
