To make up for the lack of posting yesterday, here are two very quick sketches done with Neocolor II crayons and Inktense watercolor pencils in my hand.book journal. Just to see what would happen. Reminded me of John Cage when he talked about "purposeless play."The only structure

Jennifer, yep, I started with the neocolor II and wet that, then went back with inktense. Except I'm not so patient and didn't wait til it was completely dry first, just kept scribbling and adding water :)
Crayons! They are always so bright but at the same time, it's really hardddd to draw with crayons T___T

I don't think i could replicate my pencil sketches with crayons.. someday I might try that :D

Thanks for reminding me to do my posting. It's just a little inchy but I tend to forget and they are part of a group I'm in.
I tend to let the days pile up and not show any of the stuff I've gotten done, also, but hopefully it will slow down soon and we'll see how it all goes.
Inspiration isn't a special occasion is a good reminder.
Love the vivid colors and bright airy feel... especially in the bottom piece.
